Presented by portfolio landlords from the Money Centre, the workshop will offer expert guidance on how property investment can help secure your financial future.
Set to take place at the Grandstand Suite, Newcastle Marriott Hotel, Gosforth Park, it will provide guidance on innovative financial solutions, buying below market value, the importance of regular portfolio reviews and discussions on proven buy to let strategies to help landlords succeed regardless of economic conditions.
The workshops are also be an opportunity for would-be landlords and those already established in the market to network with like-minded people.
Lynsey Sweales, marketing and PR director for the Money Centre, said, “Our workshops attract a large number of people. Anyone who comes along can be assured they will be receiving guidance from people who have been there and done it themselves.
“With house prices predicted to cool and lenders becoming more wary in the wake of the credit crunch, now is a great time to receive expert guidance and meet like-minded individuals in one room.”
She also said the buy to let market was no longer just the domain of the wealthy and middle-aged.
“Nowadays, not only are 40 per cent of landlords under 35, but more than half own one or two properties for rent and there are as many female landlords as there are men.
“Buy to let is seen as an alternative to traditional forms of investment. For example, people who have had their confidence in pensions shaken are investing in property, which they see as offering greater returns and more control.”
